  2. Very nice. But since you have date sensitive info in the podcast, you really should think about putting the date in the title.

    1. I will on Episode 1. Honestly, until a couple hours ago, I wasn't certain that it would happen again. Then comments started coming in.

  5. Really enjoyed the podcast Eric! I'm constantly broadening my definition of Filk as I'm exposed to new artists. I'll be adding Meg Davis to my collection today!

  7. Finally getting around to listening to this. Great so far. I’ll try to catch one every day or two until I get caught up.

  8. I was revisitng this episode during the process of casting my votes for the Pegasus Awards, and was reminded that I was never able to purchase "Everybody Dies" by Bill Roper. I even tried contacting him but I never heard anything back. Do you know of a way that I can purchase his music? I don't know about the rest of his music, but this song is a brilliant bit of writing!
Thanks for any help, and thanks again for the podcast. I look forward to every 2 weeks!

  9. Not Everybody Dies is on Falling Towards Orion.

That is not one of the CDs that he has available on CD Baby, and he doesn't do mail order. That generally means that the only way to get it is to be at a con where he is dealing, although most Filk dealers should carry it I would think.

The problem is the lack of mail order Filk nowadays. The only online shop in the US, Firebird Arts, seems to have been abandoned. It will take orders, but no one seems to see them. The German filk store, www.filkshop.de, seems to have it, but my German isn't strong enough to be certain.

I've been bugging Bill to get his stuff on Bandcamp, but he never seems to do it.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

And thank you, you are one of the few who comment, and it is really appreciated.

    Eric
